My son Matthew is on a cruise this week with his Dad, Stepmother and sister Elisabeth. They are celebrating Elisabeth’s 18th Birthday.
I’ve never been on a cruise (yet!) so I wanted to see if I could find out some interesting things about the ship and activities so that I can talk to Matthew about it when he gets home. With his Autism, you sometimes have to start off like you are interrogating him until he begins to open up and have a conversation.
So I went to Carnival Cruise Lines to see what I could find out. I found this really cool feature, Funship Island Virtual Cruise. It was a lot of fun and really helped me to visualize my goal as well as find things to talk to Matthew about. I especially liked the Dolphin Adventure – that was really cool!

I’ve never been on a cruise either. It looks like a lot of fun. I am putting this as one of my goals to go on a cruise. As I make money as a VA I will put 5% away toward that goal.
