18 Reasons I love Google Docs
I’m going to make today’s post short and sweet – go check out Google Docs.
Ok, so let me elaborate a little:
1. It’s free
2. It allows me to easily manage documents with my clients
3. It allows me to easily access my work if I’m on a different computer.
4. It’s simple to use and fairly user friendly.
5. I can use it to present information and share documents during teleconferences.
6. It has a great auto-save feature so I don’t need to worry about losing work if there is a power outage or internet goes down.
7. I can save documents to my own computer in whatever format I want, e.g. .doc.xls, csv, rtf, etc.
8. It’s easy to organize my files.
9. I can control who sees what
10. It makes posting to my blog super easy.
11. It has sllep-ckech, oops, I mean spell-check.
12. I can collaborate with clients in real-time.
13. I can import existing documents easily.
14. I can edit presentations with the WYSIWYG editor.
15. It can handle images and videos.
16. Google Gears also allows me to use Google Docs offline.
17. I love using it with my iGoogle. I have my Google Calendar, Google Reader, and Gmail all in one, personalized, space making it easy to access and nice to look at.
18. Did I mention it’s free?

Hello, my name is Sandra and I am proud to be a Professional Virtual Assistant! I have worked in the Virtual Assisting Industry as an independent VA and through a Virtual Staffing Agency (VSA). I have done Sales and Customer Service for a VSA and I have been a client with a VA Team of my own. I've seen it from every angle! I have developed a passion not only for this industry but also for mentoring and training women who want to have successful VA Businesses.

I’m also a huge fan of Google Docs. I was using it for my design team too, until I found Huddle (which takes docs just one step further). However, I feel that docs is the most user-friendly, especially when it comes to less tech-savvy organizations.
Thanks for sharing your reasons!
Hi Kat,
Thanks for sharing Huddle, that’s a new one for me so I’ll check it out!
Take care,
Sandra
Both sound interesting. Let me know what you think Sandra.
